Visit of C.A. Sergio Liardo to the Satellite Station

Today morning, the Italian COSPAS-SARSAT satellite station in Bari received a visit from Rear Admiral Sergio Liardo, Head of the 3rd Department (Plans and Operations) of the General Command of the Corps of Harbour Offices - Coast Guard. During the meeting, the current organisational and operational set-up was illustrated, as well as the technological development lines of the Satellite Station, which operates with the employment of Port Authority - Coast Guard Corps military personnel, under the operational dependence of the III Department of the General Command.
